Grace Kelley, the 27-year-old daughter of country legend Wynonna Judd, has found herself in hot water once again. Kelley was recently charged with soliciting prostitution, indecent exposure, and obstructing governmental operations by the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama. This is not the first time that Kelley has had a run-in with the law. In 2015, she was arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to eight years in prison in 2018 for violating her probation. Despite being released early in 2019, Kelley found herself back behind bars for a probation violation in 2021. The U.S. Sun reported that she was in and out of prison between 2022 and 2023. It appears that Kelley was set to be on parole until 2024, but her latest arrest and charges may affect that.
Kelley’s most recent arrest occurred on April 5 in Alabama. She was charged with indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations after allegedly standing near a highway with her chest and southern region fully exposed. According to the Millbrook, Ala. Police Chief P.K. Johnson, Kelley was also holding a sign that read “Ride for a Ride” while exposed. When approached by police, she reportedly did not cooperate with law enforcement. Kelley is scheduled for a court appearance on April 25. Representatives for Judd have not commented on Kelley’s latest legal troubles.
Kelley, who was born to Judd and her ex-husband Arch Kelley III, has had a tumultuous relationship with the law in recent years. Despite her troubled past, in 2022, between her prison stints, Kelley welcomed a daughter named Kaliyah Chanel. The 6-month-old baby is currently being cared for by her grandmother, Wynonna Judd. On the “Today” show in 2022, Judd expressed her love for her grandchild, stating, “She doesn’t speak yet but she looks right through me. She gives me hope.”
