Renowned action star Jason Statham is set to lead an upcoming action-thriller directed by Baltasar Kormákur. In this yet to be titled film, Statham will portray Mason, a man living in isolation on a remote Scottish island. The storyline kicks off when Mason rescues a young girl during a storm, triggering a series of events that lead to a violent attack on his sanctuary, compelling him to confront his troubled past.
Principal photography for the movie is slated to begin in November, with filming locations in the UK and Iceland at Kormákur’s RVK Studios in Reykjavik. The script is penned by Ward Parry.
