Country singer Morgan Wallen recently found himself in hot water after being arrested in Nashville, Tennessee on April 7. In a statement posted on social media, Wallen expressed remorse for his actions and stated that he needed to make amends with certain individuals before publicly addressing the situation. He took responsibility for his behavior and acknowledged that he was not proud of the incident.
Despite the arrest, Wallen confirmed that there would be “no change” regarding the 2024 leg of his One Night at a Time World Tour. This announcement came as a surprise to many as it was revealed that the tour had kicked off just days before his run-in with the law.
Wallen was taken into police custody on charges of reckless endangerment after allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s honky-tonk bar, Chief’s on Broadway. The chair landed dangerously close to two officers who were present at the scene. Additionally, Wallen was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with the incident.
Sources close to Wallen revealed that the singer’s behavior may have been triggered by personal issues, specifically the recent marriage of his ex-fiancée. This news reportedly hit Wallen hard and may have contributed to his outburst at the bar. It was mentioned that the reality of losing the love of his life may have been what led to the unfortunate incident.
