The 33-year-old took to Instagram to mark one year since the family welcomed a new pet cat into their home, sharing a carousel of snapshots that included little Ezra, whom she shares with her boyfriend Nat Eddleston.
One of the heartwarming images showed Ezra exploring the family kitchen in a baby walker, while another photo captured him wearing a Santa hat as he tried to bond with their new feline friend. In another picture, Nat was seen outside cradling his baby son and gently stroking their beloved pet cat in the sunshine. The bond between the family members and their pets was evident in the photos shared by Ellie.
In her caption, Ellie expressed her joy at having Ezra in their lives for a year. She shared how Ezra had entered their lives covered in fleas and ticks, unneutered, and without a microchip. Despite the challenging start, Ezra had quickly become an integral part of their family. Ellie revealed that as a child, she had always wished for a cat, and Ezra’s arrival felt like a dream come true for her.
While Ellie and Nat had plenty to celebrate, 2022 was a tough year for the couple due to Nat’s life-threatening injuries. In March of that year, Nat was involved in a serious road traffic collision that left him in critical condition with a broken neck and two collapsed lungs. Despite the severity of his injuries, Nat made a remarkable recovery and is now enjoying fatherhood alongside Ellie.
Although there are no immediate plans for a wedding, Ellie and Nat have discussed their future together. In a conversation with her sister in May 2022, Ellie jokingly mentioned a “shotgun wedding” to Nat, to which he responded with humor. While their relationship has had its challenges, the couple seems to be focused on building a happy and loving family environment for Ezra.
