Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star, did not attend Taylor Swift’s first Eras Tour show in Dublin, Ireland, after spending time with her in England earlier in the week. Despite his absence, Swift appeared to give a subtle nod to Kelce with a special piece of jewelry. Fans noticed that Swift re-wore her Tiffany & Co. Tiffany T Diamond Wire Ring ($2,675), which features a duo of diamond-dotted Ts – the couple’s initials. Swift had worn the same yellow-gold band last weekend in anticipation of Kelce’s surprise onstage appearance.
Kelce had attended all three of Swift’s shows in London the previous weekend, where he was joined by other famous faces such as Prince William. The NFL star also brought his brother Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, to the first two nights. It was the first time the former Philadelphia Eagles player, Jason, got to see Swift in concert. Jason mentioned on the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast that he found the show so amazing that he even teared up at one point. He shared how emotional he got watching Swift gift a young fan her famous “22” hat during the “Red” set.
Jason expressed that his favorite part of the three-hour show was the surprise songs section. He was impressed by Swift’s ability to perform seamlessly on the spot without any prior preparation, considering it the highlight of the evening. While Jason got to witness two consecutive shows, he missed seeing his younger brother’s cameo by one day. Travis surprised fans by appearing on stage during the “Tortured Poets Department” set, dressed in a suit and top hat.
Travis carried Swift across the stage during the skit and cheered her on as she performed “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” Swift later shared photos and videos of the heartwarming interaction on Instagram, expressing how she was still swooning over it. The couple, who began dating last summer, celebrated the successful surprise at Chiltern Firehouse with their close friends, partying until the early hours of the morning. However, they kept a low profile in the days following the event.
